We are looking for a Senior Software Tester to strengthen our orderbird QA team! As part of the team, you will contribute to QA activities, help lead the team's QA strategy and processes. Does this sound interesting to you? Then read on ;)

Deine Aufgaben

Defining and improving the team's overall QA strategy and processes
Take over existing mobile automation test suite (iOS with Appium, BrowserStack)
Perform root cause analysis for issues uncovered by test results
Ensure good practices and standards are implemented
Actively work with the feature development teams and develop tests on different integration levels (Functional Tests, Integration Tests, maybe even automated UI tests) as needed for the overall software release
Create and manage bug reports and actively support the feature development teams in fixing the software bugs
Actively work with others on the further development of our test framework and test methodology
Develop core test logic to support feature development
Build and support team developed test plans during each sprint
Verify customer defects, clarifying root cause scenarios for developer consumption
Validate defect fixes, ensuring application functionality and stability for production releases
Support releases through regression testing and exploratory testing
Collaborating with teams across different time zones in a fast-paced environment
Coordinate with other people which have relevant info for our testing activities

Dein Profil

4+ years of experience in software testing
Curiosity and a strong drive to discover and share useful information about systems
Deep knowledge about iterative/agile software development methodologies, testing types/levels, bug reporting and test case design
Solid knowledge of test management and SDLC/STLC
Strong work ethic and self-management
The ability to translate software requirements/stories into accurate and complete test scenarios, with a good testing coverage, including identifying the detailed test data needs
Commitment to deliver high quality releases
The ability to prioritise and focus on multiple work streams if necessary
Experience with process improvements and in setting up integration testing
Test automation experience with Appium (automating iOS apps) it’s a plus
It’s a plus if you have ideally experience with our tech stack (Python/Django, React, iOS, Android) and with testing mobile applications
