We are looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test (d/f/m) to strengthen our orderbird PRO team. As part of the team, you will lead the team's QA strategy and evangelize us with test automation on all levels.

Deine Aufgaben

Defining and improving the team's overall QA strategy
Take over existing mobile automation test suite (iOS with Appium, BrowserStack)
Perform root cause analysis for issues uncovered by test results
Perform peer code reviews of automated tests to ensure best practices and standards
Actively work with the feature development teams and develop tests on different integration levels (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, automated UI tests) as needed for the overall software release
Create and manage bug reports and actively support the feature development teams in fixing the software bugs
Performing test automation and actively work with others on the further development of our test framework and test methodology
Develop core test logic to support feature development.
Build and support team developed test plans during each sprint.
Verify customer defects, clarifying root cause scenarios for developer consumption.
Validate defect fixes, ensuring application functionality and stability for production releases.
Support releases through regression testing and exploratory testing.
Collaborating with teams across different time zones in a fast-paced environment
Coordinate with our external testing partner

Dein Profil

Curiosity and a strong drive to discover and share useful information about systems
Some knowledge about iterative/agile software development methodologies
The ability to translate software requirements/stories into accurate and complete test scenarios, including identifying the detailed test data needs.
Commitment to deliver high quality releases.
The ability to focus on multiple work streams if necessary
Test automation experience with Appium (automating iOS apps)
ideally experience with our tech stack (Python/Django, React, iOS, Android)
Experience in setting up integration testing
Experience with testing POS systems is a plus
